Packaging and Delivery Guidelines:

When purchasing large furniture items, ensure they are compatible with your property’s access points and the intended room. Verify the height, width, and diagonal depth to ensure easy entry and manoeuvring around corners and through doors.

Pre-Delivery Considerations:

Before placing an order, thoroughly evaluate the dimensions of the intended space. Inform us of any potential delivery challenges or obstacles. Confirm that the selected items can pass through all entryways, elevators, and stairways in your home. Following these steps is crucial for efficient delivery and to avoid returns. Additional charges will apply for re-delivery due to failed attempts or cancellations.

Pre-Order Recommendations:

Consider the following tips before finalising an order:

  • Identify the optimal pathway from outside your home to the intended room.

  • Ensure unobstructed and sufficiently wide access points.

  • Measure the heights and widths of all entryways, stairways, and hallways inside and outside your home.

  • Measure the interior widths, depths, and heights of all elevator doors designated for delivery.

  • Measure entry clearance – the distance from the wall through the doorway to the opposite wall.

  • Consider architectural details, corners, ceiling height, stairways, and low-hanging fixtures. Factor in any obstacles.

  • Ensure the item’s minimum clearance does not exceed the height or width of any entryways, including elevators and stairways.

  • Note that provided furniture measurements reflect overall dimensions and do not include packaging.

  • Account for packaging size, which may be approximately 15% larger than the furniture dimensions.

  • For larger sofas, confirm there is sufficient space for turning the furniture.

  • Consider internal obstacles such as wall lights, low-hanging lights, framed prints, low ceilings, and beams.

Disclaimer Regarding Furniture Purchase:

This information is provided as a guide and does not guarantee a perfect fit for your furniture purchase. Our delivery personnel are not equipped to remove doors, windows, or stair banisters. If removal is necessary for the furniture to fit, the customer must arrange this independently.

Measurement of Placement Space:

Ensure that the furniture will fit the designated space in the intended room. Refer to our website and product pages for dimensions. For additional details, contact our Customer Care.

Packaging Protocol:

We take pride in the careful handling and craftsmanship of our products. During transit, multilayer packaging is used, including plastic wraps, bubble sheets, foam sheets, foam corners, all enclosed in heavy-gauge corrugated boxes. Wooden crates may be used for added protection.

Transfer of Risk:

The risk of loss and title for items purchased from Aestheteak pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for any delays, damage, or loss during shipping.

Damaged or Lost Items:

If your product is damaged or lost in transit, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. We will assist in providing any necessary information for the claim process.

Quality Assurance:

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products. If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact our customer support for a prompt resolution.

Unpacking Your Order:

Upon receiving your items, our delivery personnel are not authorised to wait while you unpack the goods. If there is significant visible damage to the external packaging (such as a carton or crate), bring it to the attention of the delivery personnel. Proceed to open the goods yourself or seek assistance from a local carpenter if a wooden crate is involved. Inspect the contents thoroughly for any damage and show it to the delivery personnel. Take pictures of the damaged product or packaging and email them to Aestheteak along with your order details. Note the damage on the Proof of Delivery Slip or Airway Bill (AWB). Customers are responsible for inspecting goods within 24 hours of delivery. Returns will not be accepted if unpacking and damage are reported later than 24 hours after delivery.

If the package is unboxed before reaching the designated room, Aestheteak’s liability ends at that point. Any incidental damages or blemishes incurred during the process of moving the product to the designated room are the customer’s responsibility. Exercise caution during the relocation process to ensure the product's integrity.

Delivery Personnel Limitations:

Delivery personnel are not authorised to wait during unpacking and are not obliged to open or assemble furniture. Please cooperate by not compelling them to undertake such tasks.

Customer Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for accurately measuring furniture and package sizes to ensure compatibility with entryways and rooms before ordering. Aestheteak is not liable for delivery failures due to refusal, unavailability, or inaccurate measurements. Additional charges may apply for subsequent delivery attempts.

Information Regarding Higher Floors:

Our delivery personnel will deliver goods to your building premises or wherever it is physically possible. For deliveries to higher floors, additional charges may apply. Inform us of details such as the availability of a “Service Lift” to facilitate a smoother delivery process.

Shipping and Delivery Services:

We collaborate with trusted third-party logistics partners to facilitate the shipping and delivery of our products to you ("Logistic Partners"). Upon placing an order on our website, you will receive an estimated delivery timeline. This timeline will be displayed on the order confirmation page when your order is confirmed. We will also send order details and delivery updates to the email address and/or mobile number provided during the order process. Please note that while we work with Logistic Partners for deliveries, we reserve the right to handle product shipments independently without third-party involvement.

Serviceable Areas:

While we strive to deliver our products nationwide, we reserve the right to specify certain areas where product delivery may not be feasible at our sole discretion. In cases where we or our Logistic Partners cannot provide delivery services in specific areas, we will notify you when placing an order on our website. You can also verify serviceability by entering your area's pin code on our website.

Information for Timely Delivery:

To ensure the timely delivery of your purchased products, we may require specific information, such as your name, shipping address, billing address, landmarks, and contact details. You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and sufficient information for successful delivery. Any failure to provide accurate information may result in delivery issues, for which we shall not be liable.

Delivery Attempts:

Our goal is to deliver your purchased products to your specified address within the estimated delivery timeframe. If you are unavailable to receive the delivery, our Logistic Partners will make a maximum of one delivery attempt. If the attempt is unsuccessful, and you remain unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the order and arrange for the return of the product. Shipping and delivery charges incurred will be deducted while processing refunds in such cases.

Delivery Delays:

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as logistical challenges, adverse weather conditions, political disruptions, acts of nature, or unforeseeable circumstances. We will attempt to inform you of such delays via email or SMS, but we disclaim any liability for failure to notify or compensate for delayed deliveries.

Delivery Personnel Conduct:

We partner with delivery individuals and service providers who uphold ethical and professional standards. However, we cannot monitor every delivery interaction. Therefore, we shall not be held responsible for any actions or behavior of our delivery agents or service providers. Any issues or disputes arising between you and the delivery personnel must be resolved independently.

Tracking Your Delivery:

Once your order is processed, and the product is handed over to our Logistic Partner, you will receive a unique tracking identity number. This number allows you to track the status and location of your delivery on our website or the Logistic Partner's platform. While we make efforts to ensure real-time tracking updates, we cannot guarantee accuracy due to potential technical issues beyond our control.

Shipping Fees:

We may charge shipping fees for product delivery, which may vary based on factors such as product value, type, delivery area, and payment method. You authorise us to collect shipping fees on behalf of our Logistic Partners. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Product Returns:

Product returns are coordinated through our reverse-logistics partners. When you request a return on our website, our reverse-logistics partners will contact you to arrange the collection of the product. We process returns and exchanges based on our Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy.

These terms are subject to periodic updates, and customers are advised to review them regularly for any changes.

  • Shipping Charges: Please note that shipping charges may vary depending on the size, weight, and delivery location of your chosen product.
